Maryland: Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historic Park

Near Potomac, Md, the Gold Mine Trail area starts at the Great Falls Tavern Visitor Center, in the exterior of Washington, D.C.- this place has witnessed an explosion in 1906 that killed a miner. From then onwards spirits known as "Tommy Knockers" were said to haunt the dark alcove of the mine.

California: Yosemite National Park
The stunning waterfalls of Yosemite National Park were haunted by an evil wind called Po-ho-no that is why the edge view of the water fall is supposed deadly. The wind flowing here allures the incautious to the noisy threshold of the falls and then pushes them off the edge.

An unidentified biological being is said to be seen here. The creature has a yellow eyes with a bat's wing dragon's breath and a kangaroo's tail.
